Safety Control valve

Safety control valves are used to relieve - that is to cool down the high-, medium- or low pressure steam to the pressure- and temperature rates required.

The safety device has to ensure that the steam pressure inside the boiler and inside the live steam system cannot exceed the permissible steam pressure.

In case of the live steam pressure increasing inadmissibly, the safety device is able to exhaust the max. produced steam flow from the boiler via the safety control valve.

BOMAFA design characteristics:

Two separate sealing systems ensure an absolute tightness of the replaceable seat bush. The first sealing of the seat bush from the high- to the low pressure range is achieved through a gasket that is placed in shunt. The second sealing is obtained through a sealing system based on the principle of a self-sealing gasket.
- The reduction of steam pressure and the steam cooling are separately arranged.
- Round valve bodies to prevent material accumulations.
- Maintenance friendly design. Easy access to valve internals.
